The World Battle is one of the largest urban sports and culture festivals in the world, held in the city of Porto. This event brings together athletes, artists, and audiences from all over the world, promoting different expressions of urban culture.
This year, the festival includes various sports such as breaking (urban dance), skateboarding, surfing, rope jump, strongman, and other modern activities. In addition to sports, there is also a strong cultural component, featuring concerts, freestyle rap, exhibitions, workshops, and talks.
One of the most important characteristics of the event is its diversity and inclusivity, giving space to different styles, cultures, and even adaptive sports. Over several days, the city transforms into a large urban stage, with activities spread across multiple locations.
The World Battle is not just a competition, but an event that promotes creativity, talent, and connection between people through sport and urban culture.
How to Get from Porto Airport to Porto by Metro and Bus
If you’re arriving at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport and need to travel to Porto, you have several public transport options available:
Take the E Line (Purple) from the airport to Trindade Station in the city center.
The journey takes approximately 30 minutes, with departures every 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the time of day.
Several STCP bus lines connect the airport to downtown Porto, including lines 601, 602, and 604.
The journey takes around 35 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
